Recently, heard of many students from RC from different grades applied to SC. Any comment?

What do you mean 'many'?
I know one from secondary school, it's normal.

7-8 year 6 students changed to Year 7 SC at the beginning of this academic year.
Current Year 6 students ( my friend’s kid) applied to SC and met “many” RC Kids there.
Year 8 ( my kid’s close friend ) changed to SC early this year as well. There are still many have the intention to change.

其實這很正常，雖然兩間同屬ESF集團，若可以選，我也會選 SC over RC。
PS:請大家不要追問原因，有啲嘢係盡 ...

可能家長看成績。SC 是ESF 最好IB 成績那間

各ESF間轉校很常見，認識一個RC的老師小孩從rc轉到cwb了，應該跟語文、學費都有點關係。

不太了解rc，cwb相對於rc應該中文弱很多，且是一簡一繁。但那個老師一家都是美國人，就無所謂學校中文如何

我會理解為，其他esf foundation school 中學可以drop 中文，也可以選中文language B。但RC 係比較嚴格執行母語中文要考Lang A的學校。

每年的Annual report都有這統計數字，我每年都有讀；所以知道這些轉校/離校的學生數字屬正常。

轉校原因各有不同，不過較多是因為SC的公開試成績亮麗，所以心思思。我覺得最緊要與仔女商量，畢竟讀書的是他們，處於那個環境、有沒有朋友bonding對年輕人都重要。

我也曾問小兒：想轉校嗎？

他的回答是：認真讀書的話，他在那校都會認真；能夠與現在的同學朋友一起玩、一起比賽、一起表演，他好享受。

所以對於成績比較好的學生來說，轉校不轉校，問問自己的孩子就可以了。
