Oh, some only got single digit marks??? Very poor result.
I've also heard that the teachers in secondary school are not really good, my friend's daughter is one of student there. She said that the teachers insult the students in front of the classmates even they forget to bring the assessories only.
Everytime we can learn our wrong doings through life experience and make improvement throughout the life. Teachers are such kind of person influence most to our students in her school life, especially the adolescent period. It'll affect their development of self concept.
Actually the school results also reflect the quality of school and students.
You only indicate the problem of parents, but the school seems no responsibility to improve thereafter. Traditional school doesn't mean they'll not change in today world.
