Could you share your comment on whether P1 kids need to take phonic course and which phonic system will be more suitable for them .

ESF primary schools use Jolly Phonics.  I think this is quite good and easy to children.  You can teach your own child phonics by reading more books with him/her in enjoyable and fun way.

I am not sure about courses offered by these two companies.  Some good and bad responses from parents.
