我個仔係ESF返學好開心

我個仔上年係九龍一間IS讀了一年playgroup, 另外九龍塘一間IS亦收了他, 今年7，8月他在屋苑附近兩間幼稚園分別上了各一個月托兒班，前後4間kindergarten 佢都話唔鐘意，唔想返學.

今個星期一係佢係ESF返K1既第一日，daddy話同佢放學時仔仔突然攬住佢隻腳話 I like this school daddy. 我地好開心終於揾到間仔仔鐘意既學校，佢話返學好開心，放學重唔願除校服

想請問吓兩位媽咪, 知唔知道其實 ESF 收得多唔多本地嘅小朋友呢?  我個女係混血兒, 我都幫佢報咗 ESF, 但係, 係清水灣嗰間, 早兩個星期去咗參觀, 個校長一見到我係本地人, 佢就問我我個女識唔識講廣東話, 佢話如果佢識嘅話, 咁收機會就唔係咁大, 搞到我而家好擔心!  你哋識唔識有人讀呢間呀??  想問吓你哋幾時收到通知佢哋收你哋嘅小朋友架?  唔該哂!

Mone, hi, my son is also mixed, so your girl can speak cantonese? and u want to send her to CWB ESF or Abacus ESF kinder? if our kid can't speak chinese, that mean the chance get into this school will be also higher, right? thks!

我之前都見過你問幼稚園嘅問題, 你個仔好似同我個仔差唔多大, 05 年出世係咪?  如果報 ESF 嘅話, 唔駛咁快住, 出年年頭交表就 OK 架啦!  
我哋上次去, 係 visit Abacus, 個校長問我我個女識唔識講廣東話, 咁小朋友咁細個梗係樣樣識少少, 我咪話佢只係識少少, 因為我哋响屋企都係講英文多, 咁佢就話如果我個女可以講到廣東話, 咁佢可以讀到其他嘅 local 幼稚園, 變咗佢就唔會响 waitng list 度有好高嘅 priority, 佢哋係會收一 D 完全唔識講廣東話嘅小朋友先, 好似同我哋一齊 visit 嘅有一個印度 family 咁又或者兩個父母都係外籍人, 佢哋就會有最高嘅 priority。 咁我哋問收嘅機會大唔大, 佢又話好難講。 咁問佢 waiting list 多唔多小朋友, 佢又話唔講得, 總之, visit 完之後, 就連我老公都覺得機會好似唔多大咁。 所以, 想知吓其實佢哋收得多唔多本地人囉!

你係咪住西貢呀??  我有朋友介紹 New Song, 話呢間都幾類似 ESF, 佢哋而家响早禾居, 出年會搬到沙角尾附近, 我諗我哋會考慮吓報呢間! 你有冇其他心水幼稚園?

Would you please let me know how many class for K1 in TY ESF in morning and how many in the afternoon session?  how big is the school complex ?  Have you compared it with the SW ESF?

mone, thks for your ans, yup, I 'm the one who has a boy same age as yours. oh..I hv heard about new song, sounds good as the foreigner opened it, and the problem is I want to let my kid study in CWB school after abacus, I hope he could speak fluent english, cos I hv also heard the interview in CWB ESF is quiet strict, like if they can't pronoun the 's' sound after he goe"s".. my hubby is not native english. so it 's what I concern about. and yeap, i live in SK!

我兩個小朋友apply Tsing Yi ESF冇任何interview就收左，兩個小朋友都係香港本地人，我想收佢地既原因係因為學位先到先得另外佢地讀左一年IS playgroup, 所以會比較優先掛

TY ESF 收好多本地學生(多過外國人好多), ratio 我諗接近10:1, 不過大多數小朋友溝通都係以英文為主.  

至於CWB嗰邊個情況可能好唔同, 嗰邊外國人多, 唔夠位啩唔奇.  另外, 我係喺今年2月中收到通知收咗我個仔, (我05年2月交表, 算早啩, 讀AM CLASS)

As I found from the school letter, there're 8 classes in the morning (afternoon maybe the same).  The size of the school is really small and very crowd, that is also the only critisized.

However, be more fair, there're many activities corners set up permanently so the kids can play/use them everyday.  That made it crowd perhaps.

B.T.W.  They use 'mixed-class' approach, i.e. K1 & K2 students in the same class.

   wow, 仲有個囡囡? 咁囡囡係咪k2, 今年駛唔駛準備考primary? 我睇本parents handbook 話當小朋友接近5歲左右會train 佢哋多啲, 係唔係呀?

另外, 你有無考慮過幫你啲小朋友轉返出面啲本地學校(i mean 出名啲好多人爭嗰啲呢), 我喺第二個topic見到有啲讀開IS可以考返去ST PAUL 等名校, 知唔知有無可能?

佢地係孖b黎架, 都係讀k1.  其實比佢地入黎esf讀都係想佢地可以直接升上esf既p1, 但係我都會嘗試同佢地出去考下出面既學校.  我覺得我個女比較定,記憶力同吸收能力較強, 所以讀回傳統學校應該冇問題, 至於個仔....都係IS啱佢多d.

唔該哂你哋嘅回應先呀!!  我諗我都算好早交表, 今年一月就交咗, 希望個女可以明年入讀!!  不過, TY 間真係好多班喎!  上午八班, 如果下午都係八班嘅話, 一日有成十六班, 請問一班有幾多人呀??  我知道清水灣呢間好似只係得上下午各兩至三班, 所以, 先搞到好似好多人爭咁!!  同埋, 想請問吓你哋嘅小朋友係咪九月開學呢??  因為我見到佢哋嘅 info 講過, 佢哋會有小朋友係四月入學!!  麻煩哂你哋!!

應該係全校8班，每層各4班，每班3個老師。
我個仔同女個班都係20個小朋友一班，仔仔個班12個k1，8個k2，而女女個班就8個k1，12個k2。
佢地今年9月11日先正式開學，到今日都係返左一星期學咋，重要有一日係打風。
