Interview 用中文定英文?

囝囝由菲傭照顧, 用中文問佢會冇反應, 我想可能佢聽唔明問咩.就算明,都只會用英文答.咁 interview 時點算?

請問幼稚園interview時是用中文定英文? 可以選擇嗎?

除左標明係"國際學校"嘅, 其他多數係用廣東話interview!

如果唔係想阿囝/囡讀"國際學校", 父母識講廣東話嘅, 就多d同小朋友講廣東話啦!

Most Anglo-Chinese kindergartens and some international kindergartens will offer interviews in Chinese.

Some international kindergartens especially the traditional ones (like ESF, CCKG, ICS) will offer inteviews in English only.

St Catherine is one international kindergarten that offer interviews in both Chinese and English.  You can choose either one and state it in application form before interview.

Very occasionally, the teacher will decide the language used in interview.  If they find that parent speak mainly in one language (e.g. English) with their children, they will interview the children in another language (e.g. Chinese) or vice versa, in order to test their ability.

In conclusion, try to let children to have exposure in both Chinese and English, but pay more effort on one language that your favourite school emphasizes.  :
