i am also thinking yycs or st.johannes, but mostly i think i will choose st.johannes i think the english standard of sjc is better than yycs

我想表達給你知, 我仔仔之前是在sjc就讀的, sjc程度是很好,
K.3 時相信會達P.2程度, 去考學校有優勢, 同你想法一樣。

但我仔仔返學1個月後越來越不願意返學, 很不開心到學校門口就大哭, 我看在眼裡實在不放心, 我突然醒悟仔仔的童年快樂才最重要, 最後我在下學期轉校, 現在每天仔仔返學都充滿笑臉, 很樂意返學.

I applied 九龍禮賢 for my daughter and got accepted.  Although I decided to give up 九龍禮賢 for St. Rose, I still think it is a great school.

Personally, I think 九龍禮賢 is good as follows :
- It's highly praised in a few 禮賢topics at bk
- Kids enjoy school life and are happily studying there
- Teachers are nice and there are field trips and other school activites arranged
- 禮賢 has a private primay school as backup.  I read from other topics that the school will take back more than 50% kg3 students in P1.  Given that some students got accepted by other schools, plus some other that got allocated to 津貼小學, most kg3 students who apply to 禮賢小學 will be admitted (not 100% guarantee though, kids still need to go through P1 interviews)

I have no idea how the academic standards are compared between these 2 schools.

I think I will go for st. johannes.  It's academic standard is far better than yycs.  Since St. Johannes accepted your son, it means your son possess some of the qualities that meet St. Johannes' recruitment requirement.  I agree with mamajacky that 'sjc程度是很好,
K.3 時相信會達P.2程度, 去考學校有優勢'  Why don't you give it a try and if your son doesn't get used to the style of teaching at St. Johannes, you can switch to other school later ( hope that will not happen to you      )

if i were you, i think i prefer to choose 禮賢. I got a friends' son studied k1 in YYCS and now move to 禮賢 for k2...

i don't know, she didn't tell me. But if i can choose again, i think i won't choose YYCS. (my kid is now studying there). If you want to know the reason, you can look at other topics relate to YYCS.

如果今日禮幼畢業去考禮小, pass左你會認為是孩子interview表現好好過其餘非禮幼畢業考生, 還是因為加分的關係. 換言之, fail左是因為孩子面試表現太差即使有分加都考不到嗎?

因為有沒有分加或者優先考慮, 取錄邊個學生都是學校自己內部作業. 成績並不會公開.所以對我來講, 實際學校教學成效如何先至係重點.
