學之園vs維多利亞

名氣應該是維多利亞的大，但對於理念及教學方式有何分別呢？

緊係維記好d啦,  開校都耐過學之園. 老師方面個個都做過超過10年以上.

其實兩間都係我考慮之列... 我自己有朋友讀過lh, 佢話係LH出0黎0的小朋友係比較有教養, 但係擒日我上完維記0既SEMINAR 就比較BUY 佢0既英文老師...

雖然佢0地通常係ABC, BBC, 或者CBC, 但係都係WELL-TRAINING 0既NURSERY PROFESSIONAL, 反之學之園0既英文老師, 雖然係外籍人士, 但係佢0地真係除0左係紅鬚綠眼, 但係一0的都唔QUALIFY 囉...

我個囡本身係LH 上PLAYGROUP, 原先0既MISS 雖然係香港人, 但係教得好好. 後尾第二個SEMESTER 轉0左個外籍人士, 完全唔識教, 就算控制課室0既DISCIPLINE 都搞唔掂... 聽聞佢仲要係青衣0既英文老師, 可能始終LH 唔係太耐歷史, 所以搵唔到0既好0既英文老師0拉... 但係佢0地其他野都好好.
不過論安全衛生就好似維記好0的, 就算上PG 佢0地都要0的家長量體溫, 呢樣野我就好BUY 囉...

我都係比較buy 維記多d,  我覺得學校請老師番哩教,  最重要係佢地夠prof.    有沙紙越高越好.   我最鍾意係維記有護士係學校當值.  唔係好多學校都有.

感覺上維記比較商業，會否很多雜費呢？

LH is not commercial. No any extra fee. Some native teachers are good in teaching. The madarine teachers are good. But not all .

My son got accepted by Victoria for only Tue and Thur pm class at HMT and also got accepted by LH for 5 days school. I am really puzzling and not sure which one my son should go for. I am on the waiting list for 5 days Victoria but not sure when he can get the space for that as the waiting list is quit long too.

Any recommendation from other mummy?

Seems you got 2 children,better select one that convient for you to send and pick up.

Thanks clarachuk, you are right I should choose the close one. I am living at HMT so Victoria should be closer, however, its not a walkable distance to school so I still need the school bus facility. Unfortunately, the school bus wouldn't have any stop close to my house and I might need to walk a bit. For LH, they have school bus near my place even thought the school is further away from my house.

I have enrolled the playgroup at Vic for my second son and therefore, if they have the space, it would be the same time as my elder son.

So should I choose Vic for only 2 days school per week? I might need to find something else for the rest of the week for him. That's actually quit expensive as you know Vic is not cheap at all.

p.s. My girl also accepted by Kornhill Victoria to admit PN class on Tue and Thu. Since the school closes to my house, I will enroll it. Just checked the information about uniform, textbook and etc. I should agree that it's expensive especially for those student only attend 2 days a week class.

Dear BJLover,

Are you referring to LH in Whampoa?

My daughter had been to the playgroup of LH in Whampoa. I have been told that their teachers would not stay long in the shool and there is a high turnover.

Also, the school is not that clean. The mat was dirty and parents were walking around in shoes while the kids were only wearing socks in the play area. Comparing to Victoria (HMT), Victoria is a lot cleaner.

After I have been to LH playgroup and my daughter got accepted by Victoria (HMT), I did not even bother to turn up for the interivew at LH.

Hi Veldasharpe,

Thanks so much! Yes, I refer to the LH in Whampoa. My son loves so much in Victoria on the interview day but he didn't show too much interest in LH. I think the layout of the campus is really different and honestly, Victoria is more structure and organised.

You have again enforced me to let my son to study in Victoria.
